drunken elephants

4 drunken elephants electrocuted themselves in India. I sure am glad that there's no electric poles near my house.

The Apprentice

Saw Trump's 'reality' show yesterday and while cheezy, its a step up from a lot of the other stuff on tv. Actually I tivo'd it on after hearing it that both the Harvard Business School and the Wharton School of Finance assigned it to their students as mandatory viewing.

Anybody else think Paul would've been the ideal contestant on the show? I'm sure he'd gladly volunteer for the leg waxing too.

My kind of ice fishin'

U.S. Soldiers are fighting in Iraq; Russian soldiers are rescuing kegs from a frozen river.

The Final Frontier

Now I haven't been keeping up to date on our current objectives in space because I thought we had enough on our hands down here on Earth. But thanks to the Non-Expert over there at the Morning News, our goals for interplanetary exploration are laid out nicely.

PLEASE READ THIS...

...especially if you are a democrat.

Ok, so now that the primaries are coming up, everyone pays attention to politics. Obviously, the Republican nomination is already locked up. The Democratic nomination, however, is turning into quite a heated battle.

Michael Moore (the guy who yelled at Bush at the Oscars, and made 'Bowling for Columbine') is supporting Wesley Clark for the Democratic nomination. Granted he can be an ass at times, but he also knows his stuff when it comes to liberal politics. He lists many reasons in this article, among them that Wesley Clark is against the war in Iraq, and especially against a draft. And another draft is a MAJOR concern if Bush stays in office. Personally, I am a conscientious objector. And granted, even if there is a draft, it starts with 20-year-olds, and probably wouldn't even get to people my age, but I don't want to see anyone forced to take up arms against other human beings. And if you don't want to see a draft, then this is a VERY important election.

Anyway, sorry for the political propaganda from the dirty hippie, but this election is very important, especially for people our age.
