WHATTT!? WHO!?

Just who is "Soma" and why is he/she posting all these random, unrelated comments to old Ukazu posts that go back a while?

Still doesn't beat the original NES

Microsoft is set to monopolize another market, and I couldn't be happier...With the release of the XNA architecture, Microsoft has given game developers the software and tools to spend more time developing their games, and less time worrying about hardware concerns and boilerplate code. Further, the ability to unify XBOX and PC gaming is introduced, bringing the ease of Billing, Connectivity, and Matchmaking from the XBOX Live system to the PC, as well as taking advantage of the ever increasing memory and processor speeds of the PC. Mmmmm so very tasty indeed. I may never leave the house again...

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind

Fans of Being John Malkovich and Adaptation should note the near term arrival of the Charlie Kaufman film Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind in theaters near them. It promises to be weird just like its older brothers, and like them it's also supposed to be pretty damn good. Todd Dominey was a fan and it's getting lots of love at Metacritic. For a look at the brain science involved (watch out -- spoilers) check out Steven Johnson's article published at Slate.

Update: The badasses who are the Cohen brothers are also releasing a film soon have also released a film recently, titled The Ladykillers (trailer | mini-review). If you liked Fargo, O' Brother Where Art Thou, or the mighty, quotable, beautiful Big Lebowski, you should get on the stick (so should I, apparently).

Any other movies we should all be aware of?
