Dumb Chicks

This is exactly why all guys think chicks are psychotic. If only we had every guy had access to security cameras and computer logs to disprove all the crazy ass stories chicks come up with.

What the -- ?

Batman Begins?? What's that all about? Who decided that the new Batmobile would be built by Tonka? It seems a bullet proof vette wasn't enough -- the new wheels look like a turbine powered swamp buggy. Does Batman go to battle with Truckasaurus in this movie?

That's why they call him "Kid Rock"

Babies are ugly. Whenever I meet one, I always tell the parents about how darling their child is, while in the back of my mind, I am thinking "Damn, didn't you fools know that you weren't supposed to smoke durring pregnancy?"
Some people I know have always thought babies were the darndest things. I never got that until my sister had one. When I saw her, I couldn't stop thinking just how cute she was. Then I realized that the baby was still pink and wrinkly, it's just the sensitivity factor that made me think she was cute. Will this make me think that all future tax write-offs are little wonders? I am not sure, but at least I won't roll my eyes when someone else thinks so.

Ahem.

It's about ergonomics, of course. See if you can get that through in the next office supply order at work. Alex, Aaron, make sure your mouspad girls are wearing different outfits.

Bonus coolness: an underwater motorcycle!

Weekend Update with Peazy

It's late, sure, but I gotta share.

  • Naughty Hedgehogs. It's TV-MA or worse, so don't rip it at work with the sound on blast. Props to Jen M.
  • The Running of the Bullshitters! How freakin' cool is that? If I'm not shackled to my desk that night (you laugh) then I want to go check this out. I need an amigo or two -- who's in?
  • "10 things they never taught me in design school," The original audience was designers (duh) but like most lists of the really important stuff, it's got a lot more philosophy than mechanics. Read.
  • New social phenomenon: girls photographing girls. An astute observer figured out that it's not sudden weirdness, but part of the online dating life cycle.
  • In case you missed it, Bush made some quite unfunny jokes last week at a media dinner. I'm surprised his remarks didn't cause more of an uproar (also at CNN).

I should have listened to Tinkerbell

As I type this post, there are nine hours between me and adulthood. Tomorrow, I get up at five o'clock and drive to work. Not in a DJ booth, but in an actual real office; with desks, and employees, and everything. It has taken me longer than the average person, but I think I am finally ready for the business world. My question is: Is the business world ready for me?
