All Political Debates Should Be Done This Way

I learned more about this years presidential candidates through this video than I have reading anything in the stupid newspaper.

If you are unsure about how you're going to vote in the coming election, this short clip could lend some insight.

Summer Reading Lists

A couple of weblogs I read linked to Phil Gyford's aggregated list of what various online personalities are reading this summer. There is all sorts of interesting stuff -- if you're looking to break out of a reading rut, you could surely find a few diversions there.

I'm still trying to wrap up The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay so I can dig into something new (maybe Clinton's book?).

What are you all reading? Anyone given up on books for episodes of The Simple Life 2 and thumb time with Madden 2004?

Update: More good writing about what people are reading: the New York Times Magazine offers a walkthrough, complete with historical and cultural perspective, on the Graphic Novel phenomenon.
