Many of us have been around when Lutz has dropped some of his more insane quotes, and this trip to the UK has definitely not lacked any of those quotes!
Brian's friends here in England also keep a blog of all his quotes. Here is a sampling of those quotes:
While walking the streets of Bath, Brian stops and proclaims "Why do the English insist on being so ugly?"
"This museum is boring, I think I will bill the EPA for a couple of hours and get paid!"
And yesterday while exploring Oxford (which Brian attended for over a year and yet still doesn't know where much is) Brian looks around and says "I don't really know where I am, but I know I am here!"
On a side note, the Marshall people have started making new rules for the incoming Marshalls because of the way Brian acted last term. Ohh Brian! You are a trip! But we love you anyway.
Thanks for your hospitality! Now , geeze, just bring me my chapstick!
Brett is running a marathon in Chicago on October 11th. How cool is that? Go chase those Kenyans, homeboy!
Thanks to Alex, I had the faith and motivation to finally stop the comment spam overtaking the archives like Virginia Creeper. I installed Jay Allen's excellent MT-Blacklist and cleaned out the old crap quickly. Spam is not welcome here.
Wonkette, the DC gossip blogger has published a transcript of Jon Stewart's appearance on the O'Reilly Factor.
I don't know if you're familiar with Bill O'Reilly, but he ranks among the most prominent individuals on the planet with which I would not like to interact. At all. Ever. He is just so awkward... it's really remarkable. I think you can get a sense from the transcript, but really, nothing beats watching the man in action.
Avast, ye scurvy dogs, yesterday was National Talk Like a Pirate Day. You also might want to check out the Real Pirate Code, not the one those bilge rats at Disney be putin' in their movie. So mark September 19, 2005 on your calenders, ye lubbers, for next year's event. I'll be loaded to the gunwales, so consider yerselves fairly warned!
There's a new trailer for the Pixar movie The Incredibles. Scooped by Kottke -- how does he always do it?
