To all the "tech" bankers from Citi that just learned that Google is useful for finding people too, welcome to UKAZU. Bookmark this site, me and my non-banker friends will keep you entertained long after I've left the building.
It's 1:04 am, and I'm at work, printing books (presentation materials) for a meeting at 8:30 am. It's absurd. More absurd is the fact that Jonas is currently sleeping under his desk, Castanza style. As you might expect, he's equipped: he's got an alarm clock down there, along with a sleeping bag, some comfortable attire (business casual!), and a sleep mask. Born to bank, baby.
Well, I was working for the weekend (oooh, video...). But that didn't keep me from catching up on the Internet a bit Sunday night. Items of note:
- Monkeys and money: "When taught to use money, a group of capuchin monkeys responded quite rationally to simple incentives; responded irrationally to risky gambles; failed to save; stole when they could; used money for food and, on occasion, sex." Wow! This is science? Maybe I should have stuck it out in school a bit longer.
- Threadless is having a sale, all t-shirts $10. In the spirit of the free donut post, I'm announcing this at the last minute. Today is the day, friends.
- And Hufu, the Healthy Human Flesh Alternative. Somebody, serve this at a party, please.
- Oh man! And I thought it was gonna be a slow news day! This just in from Joe: Barbie Girl. Worth its weight in kilobytes.
