Shaolin Warriors

On March 19th, 2002 the Shaolin Warriors will be coming to Gammage Auditorium. The Shaolin Warriors are a group of Buddhist monks who have been practicing their Wushu fighting system for more than 1000 years. The monks do not travel often and they give very few performances when they do. The opportunity to witness their martial arts demonstration is rare. Audiences report being struck with awe at the amazing abilities of this group of monks.

I'm gonna go, and if you'd like to come along, you're invited. The tickets are only $9.00. Check out the websites below for more information and then give me a call back to RSVP. I'm buying the tickets this Thursday, so don't mess around.

I went to a Tae Kwan Doe class once. Of course I'm down to go.

Beth said she's in too.

Jonas says, "I'm in."

Gabe and Artie are down for it with five on it.

Jenna, maybe?

Beth: undo. Brij: add two.

Just a few details for my event scrapbook: no one reads. I sent out an e-mail asking people to pick tickets up from underneath my doormat and I got three phone calls asking how I was going to get tickets to people. I also had one person come pick up the wrong ticket. No big deal, of course, but when I write everyone's name on their ticket and tell them that their name will be on their ticket, it makes sense to pick up the ticket with your name on it. Silly people.
