The unimaginable has happened!! No, hypercolor shirts and Reebok pumps are not back in style. The other unimaginable thing. That's right, John Shewmake actually has a J-O-B!!! I hope you had your smelling salts handy for that announcement. Now that most of you have regained consciousness let me get to the point of this message. What are we going to do about this outragious turn of events? What else, PARTY!!! Read on for your mission if you choose to accept it.

What: The John Shewmake Coming Out of Retirement Party (yeah, i do sort of feel like a debutant)
Where: The Buzz in Scottsdale
When: 10:30 Pm Friday, November 16th of this year of our Lord 2001
Why: Like you have to ask, anyone who knows me should find it hard to believe that this day has actually come. I think it is almost comparable to the second coming of christ. But thats my opinion.
How: any mode of transportion should be fine. I am personally trying to go solely by riksha. Just make sure that you have a safe way to get home and I don't mean the Crazy Drunk Cristy Bus.

Ok, that should do it. You know what to do. Oh yeah, Presents are optional but extremely welcomed and appreciated. (Ed. Note: If you get Shewmake a present to reward him for his six months of vacation then you are a nutcase.)

More philanthropy. This is getting out of control:

Who: We need ten people to volunteer. Fun people please, because if you're a bad apple, no one wants to work with you. This is especially true since we're working for free.
What: We're helping out with a holiday event that will benefit some orphans in Mexico. We don't have to go to Mexico to get involved however (someone tell Ryan). We're going to Mill Avenue to help set up, run, and then clean up a holiday benefit.
Where: Tempe Beach Park, Rio Salado and Mill Avenue, Tempe, AZ, USA, EARTH.
When: December 8th, 2001 from 2pm until 10pm.
Why: Because you're going to get your red rider bb gun, gamecube, and thong underwear regardless. Take some time to help some kids who might never have the opportunity to wear thong underwear with a bb gun across their lap playing the latest Super Mario adventure.
How: I think the event coordinators will clue us in when we get there.

After Party: If you all show up and work hard, we'll come back to my place afterwords and re-acclimate ourselves to selfish living with a few strategically placed twelve packs and some movies or karaoke dvds.
